The same facility is available in indiatimes email you can try
Or you can use Baraha and type the letter convert it into picture or
image and send it as attachment to any id....she doesn't need to install
any fonts for reading it.

Recently i happen to see in news paper (Last week's Deccan Herald) abt
rediff.com comming with mail services supporting 11 indian languages,
including our own KANNADA also.
But i checked it & found no such thing yet. May be in comming days this
should be possible.
I remember the same rediff.com had support for kannada earlier also,
with PHONETIC key support, later they with-drew the same.
